On-call basis (flexible availability, including evenings and weekends)

Are you looking for a flexible part-time job in an inspiring environment? Hotel Altenbroek is looking for an on-call kitchen assistant to support our kitchen team with mise en place, assisting during service, and other kitchen tasks. At Hotel Altenbroek, you will work in a unique, historic setting with an eclectic interior and 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and nature. Our hotel offers a special guest experience, and you will have the chance to gain experience in various settings: from a refined fine dining restaurant and a classic bistro to weddings, events, and private celebrations. This means no two working days are the same, and you will get to know all facets of the kitchen!

Your working day
 

  • Mise en place: Preparing ingredients and setting up kitchen stations.
  • Support during service: Helping with plating dishes and providing support where needed.
  • Working cleanly and in an organized way: Working according to HACCP standards and ensuring a tidy kitchen.
  • Collaborating with a young and driven team: Assisting chefs and learning from their expertise. 
     

When you make the difference

  • You work neatly and like structure.
  • You are flexible, including in the evenings and on weekends.
  • Experience in the kitchen is a plus, but not required – we are happy to teach you the tricks of the trade!

Salary and employment conditions
 

  • Salary according to the Hospitality CAO - Forma | Reference position cook scale 3 (NL) \\ kitchen assistant category 2 (BE)
  • Flexible: you enjoy working at different moments, times, and on weekends;
