Trainee Chef

Do you enjoy being in the kitchen and do scents and flavors make you happy? For Hotel Altenbroek, we are looking for an eager-to-learn apprentice chef who truly wants to learn the trade. Hotel Altenbroek is tucked away in the green landscape of the Voer region. A 14th-century castle farm where tranquility, nature, and character come together, and where guests can truly get away from it all. 
The estate is part of ECLECT – a hospitality label that is building an eclectic mix of characterful boutique hotels.

Your working day  

Days are always different: One day you cook for restaurant guests, the next day for a meeting or a wedding. 

  • You learn how your work in the kitchen contributes to hospitality and a pleasant experience for the guest;
  • Preparing and cooking dishes under supervision according to fixed instructions and methods;
  • You learn how to organize your work environment and comply with HACCP guidelines and hygiene standards.
