Landgoed Altenbroek is seeking an on-call kitchen staff member to support our kitchen team with mise-en-place, assisting during service, and other kitchen tasks. At Landgoed Altenbroek, you work in a unique, historic setting with an eclectic interior and 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and nature. Our hotel offers a unique guest experience, and you get the chance to gain experience in various settings: from a refined fine dining restaurant and a classic bistro to weddings, events, and private celebrations. This means no workday is the same, and you get to learn all facets of the kitchen!
What will you do?
- Mise-en-place: Preparing ingredients and setting up kitchen stations.
- Support during service: Helping with plating dishes and providing support where needed.
- Working clean and organized: Working according to HACCP standards and ensuring a tidy kitchen.
- Collaborating with a young and driven team: Assisting chefs and learning from their expertise.
What are we looking for in you?
- You have an interest in cooking and want to gain experience in the kitchen.
- You are motivated and like to roll up your sleeves.
- You work neatly and love structure.
- You are flexibly deployable, also in the evenings and weekends.
- Experience in the kitchen is a plus, but not required – we are happy to teach you the tricks of the trade
